Who can enter Panama without a Panamanian visa?

You may be eligible to enter Panama without a Panamanian visa if you hold a valid visa or residency permit from one of the following:

  • United States
  • Canada
  • Australia
  • United Kingdom
  • Japan
  • South Korea
  • Singapore
  • Any European Union country


Can my visa be verified in advance?

Yes. If convenient, you may share a copy of your visa for verification.

Please note that verification only checks that your visa remains valid beyond your travel or event dates.


Does the visa need to have been used previously?

No, you are not required to have entered the issuing country prior to travelling to Panama.


Is there a minimum validity requirement?

Your visa must simply be valid for the duration of your stay in Panama.

No additional minimum validity period is required.
